At DMAI, we are developing next generation cognitive AI assistants and platforms that are adaptive and intuitive. Where others build standardized methods, we are building personalized solutions in education and healthcare designed to lift humanity.

This holiday season, DMAI is seeking to launch an evolution in education. With only 30% of Americans holding college degrees and only 66% of non-native English speakers graduating high school, we are taking a pledge to support learners early on. Our journey begins with Animal Island Learning Adventure (AILA) Sit & Play, a hands-free, worry-free all-in-one intelligent monitor and edutainment system that supports toddlers and preschoolers as they build the skills needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

At DMAI, we believe that cognitive AI can motivate people in their lives and learning by empowering caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals as they strive to offer personalized instruction and care, similar to Atlanta native Tiffany Krumins, the first winner of Shark Tank with her invention Ava the Elephant, a speaking children’s medicine dispenser. In her work, Tiffany has proven to thousands upon thousands of little ones that taking one’s medicine can be pleasant, and we at DMAI are excited to show toddlers and preschoolers and their families that learning can be full of discovery and fun. “I adore what you are doing with this brand – Animal Island Learning Adventure (AILA),” Tiffany Krumins said. “This product spoke to me because of my not-so-popular stance on children using technology. We are the ‘weird family’ that does not have iPads and iPhones for our children. After I had the chance to learn more about this product, I realized it was the perfect solution for us. I firmly believe the RIGHT technology, used both at the appropriate age and length of time daily, can be a WONDERFUL teaching tool! I look forward to seeing your hard work come to fruition as more parents and children fall in love with AILA! How could they not with those adorable characters?!”

Founder of Mom Genius and the first winner of Shark Tank

A respected inventor, iHeartRadio host, motivational speaker, successful entrepreneur, and mother of three, Tiffany Krumins now leads Mom Genius™, a mission-driven venture inspired by the positive response she received when sharing her personal story with the world on Shark Tank and her bumpy journey taking Ava the Elephant to market. Launched in August 2018, Mom Genius™ streamlines the entrepreneurial process to help inventors bring products to market, build brand audiences, and convert their ideas into revenue.

Along with her career, Tiffany reminds us all of the importance of community, of nurturing and helping little ones during this season of giving. “The children’s hospital I am closest to both in location and HEART is Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta! I would love nothing more than to see these used in the hospital one day,” Tiffany said. In a similar spirit, we at DMAI have likewise pledged to lift the next generation of learners with our Holiday Giving Pledge.

On December 19th, we will go LIVE at 11:30am PST on Facebook and Instagram from DMAI headquarters in Los Angeles, California to connect with the families of all the participants in our America’s Got Baby contest.

To enter the contest, parents/guardians should upload video of their child or children engaging with their surroundings (i.e., smiling, laughing, clapping, and so on) to Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #AILASweepstakes and tagging the brand Instagram handle @animalisland.us and/or Facebook page @animalisland.us. The top 10 winners will receive an AILA Sit & Play Intelligent Monitor and Edutainment System and will be entered to win the Grand Prize.

The Grand Prize winner, determined after submitting a new video using a script provided by DMAI, will be selected to come to Los Angeles, California, complete with hotel, round-trip airfare, and tickets to Disneyland, and might even star in an original AILA Sit & Play commercial.

Since announcing the preorders and contest on November 19th, we have seen daily postings made by families from all over the country sharing precious moments with their joyous little ones. A happy child requires supportive, attentive, and responsive parents and caregivers who offer a consistent, lasting, and loving environment, and AILA is designed to fit within this window of family bonding. With AILA, screen time for children no longer needs to become passive and noneducational, but can be packed with an enriching and engaging curriculum ranging from counting and stories to sing-alongs and art, and so much more.

Passionate about the vision and mission of our company, we, the employees of DMAI, have pledged to create opportunities for children and their families to experience AILA Sit & Play for themselves. Here’s how: in addition to the top 10 winners, any family that participated in the America’s Got Baby contest and are present during the Facebook and/or Instagram Live event may have an opportunity to claim a pledge for an Animal Island Learning Adventure (AILA) Sit & Play Intelligent Monitor and Edutainment System on a first-come, first-served basis. To get a pledge during the Facebook or Instagram LIVE event, families need to simply check out using our special code, enter their shipping address, and only cover the cost of ground shipping. That’s it! Each pledged product is paid for by DMAI employees and the broader DMAI community.

Let’s kick off this holiday giving season together by giving the gift of learning, discovery, and laughter, brought to you by the creators of Animal Island Learning Adventure (AILA) Sit & Play.

Sign up now for invites and updates, and come join us on December 19th.
